Tarsha Huftalen is the Clinical Director at Comprehensive Pain Management. She has been working alongside Dr. Chan and Dr. Shwartzman at Sturdy Memorial Hospital and Comprehensive Pain Management since 2012. Tarsha received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2008, and her Nurse Practitioner Degree from Regis College in 2011. While receiving her degree, Tarsha worked at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for 7 years. Today, Tarsha continues to work for the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Tarsha's devotion to Comprehensive Pain Management is highly valued by the Doctors' who claim that "Her knowledge and expertise in the field of pain management are a great asset to the practice and most importantly, the patients".
Lindsay Leddy is the assistant Clinical Director at Comprehensive Pain Management. Lindsay completed her undergraduate degree at Wheaton College in Norton, MA with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology in 2012. She continued her education at MGH institute of health professions located in Boston, MA. Here, she received her bachelor and Master of science in Nursing in May of 2016. In 2014, Lindsey received clinical experience as a student nurse at Massachusetts general Hospital, as well as Newton-Wellesley Hospital. In 2015, Lindsay completed her clinical as a Gerontology Nurse practitioner student at South Shore Primary Care, Andrade Medical Associates, and the Center for Wound Healing at Morton Hospital. That following year, Lindsey moved to Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. Lindsey is now a Registered nurse, ANCC certified in adult gerontology primary care, and a BLS/CPR/AED for health care provider.
Julia received her Bachelor in Science from the University of Fitchburg Massachusetts in 2002. In 2008, she completed the St. Joseph’s School of Nursing RN Diploma Program. She later completed the MSN-Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Rhode Island. That following year, in 2016, she received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Rhode Island. Julia has worked as a research assistant and research nurse practitioner at Brown University and Roger Williams Medical center. Between 2008-2014, Julia worked as a registered nurse at Women and Infants Hospital, Landmark Hospital and Kent County Hospital in Warwick, RI. In January 2017, Julia began her work as a nurse practitioner in our Warwick location where she is responsible for Acute and Chronic Pain management. Julia is an asset to the Comprehensive Pain Management team and is working at our South County and Warwick locations.
Kimberly Duarte completed her undergraduate degree in 2008, at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science. She continued her education at MGH Institute of Health Professionals and received her Bachelors and Masters Degree for Nursing in May of 2017. During her training at MGH, Kimberly conducted general research and worked in The Adult Gerontology Department, The Medical Oncology Department, and at the Infectious Disease and HIV clinic. In 2016, she worked at Tufts University Health Services for student health, and at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in the Infectious Disease unit. Kimberly is a Nurse Practitioner at Comprehensive Pain Management in Franklin, MA.
Beth Fitzgerald is a Registered Nurse and board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Arts and Psychology in 1999, and in 2008 she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. In May 2017, Beth received her Masters degree for Nursing from Salve Regina University. She completed her clinical rotations at the Providence Community Health Center, Hope Health Hospice and Palliative Care, Mansfield-Westwood Pediatrics, and at Comprehensive Pain Management in Warwick, RI. Prior to her work at Comprehensive Pain Management, Beth spent eight years as the lead RN for Community Counseling of Bristol County. Beth works in three Comprehensive Pain Management locations; Franklin, Warwick, and South County.
Philomene Fortes is a Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner at Comprehensive Pain Management. In 2003, She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Rhode Island. In 2013, Philomene received her Master of Science in Nursing from Howard University in Washington, DC. Prior to her work at Comprehensive Pain Management, Philomene lived in Maryland and worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Kaiser Permanente in Largo, Maryland and at the Suburban Nephrology Associates located in Riverdale, Maryland. Philomene was a registered travel nurse during the time she worked at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA, and Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. She is a part of the American Nurses Association, Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland, and National Kidney Foundation Council of Advanced Practitioners. Philomene works in two Comprehensive Pain Management locations; Warwick and South County.
